It has been quite some time since I've updated any of my rankings, but as we are now a good bit through the season, I feel that it is a good time to revisit these. These will be my rankings for players eligible for the 2022 NFL Draft. Just a reminder that these are far from final, there is still 174 days till the Draft, this is just where I’m currently at. Lets start first with QBs.

For the purposes of this list, I have chosen to exclude Spencer Rattler, as I would be surprised at this point if he were to declare. As a group, this is a pretty big drop-off in talent when comparing it to last years class. Corral was my top ranked 2022 eligible QB coming into this season, and that remains the same as he has shown even more improvement from last year. Right now though, at best, Corral would have been my 4th ranked QB in last years group. We don't quite have those high end prospects this year, but we do have some guys with very enticing tools. All the players in my top 3, I consider to have high end arm talents, some more refined than others though. I see Matt Corral as the clear 1 of this group, and then Strong and Willis being pretty close together. I'm not as sold on Pickett's or Howell's NFL upside, but they both do have their own promising traits. Everyone after that I wouldn't expect to reach anything past a backup role in the league.

Isaiah Spiller and Breece Hall holds the top 2 spots for me by a decent margin. Both backs are good athletes at their size, and have consistently produced through their college careers. I prefer Spiller over Hall due to him performing better when working laterally than Hall does, who I consider more of a north to south runner. I do not see much of a separation here between these 2 as talents, and it is totally feasible I decide to flip these 2 by draft time. Kenneth Walker brings great aggressiveness as well as being a natural runner, but a pretty average athlete for the position. Charbonnet probably brings the best blend of speed and power in this class. I’m not as high on Kyren Williams as many are, I don't see as much tackle breaking ability as I would like. If Keaontay Ingram continues to put up big performances the rest of the season it’s going to be hard for me not to bump him up past Kyren Williams.

Like with QB, I’m gonna cheat a little bit here and exclude George Pickens, I am very high on him but with his injury its up in the air if he declares or not. Going into this season I had some doubts regarding Burks, but still obviously saw the raw talent. Through this season though he has been unstoppable and has solidified himself into the top WR spot for me. I've been consistently pretty high on Garrett Wilson and that continues here, super well rounded player with slot/wide versatility as well as being experienced as a returner. Wilson may not have the crazy high ceiling of Burks, but he is a really safe pick that also brings good upside with it. I'm definitely a bit higher than consensus on Romeo Doubs at the moment, I think he is a fantastic deep threat that has great athleticism for his size. He certainly has concerns with his hands at times and isn't a super polished player right now, but I'm betting on his dynamic ability and upside. The opposite of what I just explained for Doubs is why I have Olave ranked low, at best he is a WR2 in the league. Olave is polished and a good athlete, but he brings very little after the catch and is inconsistent in contested situations.

It's pretty difficult at this point to understand the current situation with Billingsley, but the talent is still definitely there. He has been in and out of Saban's dog house all season resulting in a very mixed bag of usage up to this point. Even with this though, he is still by far the most talented TE prospect of this class so he will hold the top spot for me. Cole Turner is a converted WR and it shows on film, has good size and good athleticism along with better than expected blocking. Projects to be a good player in the league but doesn't have any special traits. I have Trey McBride and Wydermyer pretty close together, I think they are both solid and pretty well rounded, but neither offer much athletic upside. I’m probably higher on Kuithe than I should be, but he is just too fun of a player not too. He could potentially see a move to RB/FB given his smaller size and playstyle, similar to Jaylen Samuels.
