Week 11 Waiver Stargazing

Onto Week 11 we go, and we are getting close to those fantasy playoffs. Attacking the waiver wire can be a key way to help you make that final push, and @K_H_Ray, @ZTwiceFF & @MattFFDynasty have put together some under-rostered players to target on your waivers this week who can help you do just that!

Waiver Target

Waiver Target of The Week

Elijah Moore | WR | NYJ (31.5% Rostership - 8% FAAB Recommendation) (@ZTwiceFF)

Since the week 6 bye, Moore has had 6+ targets every week and has scored at least 1 TD the last 2 weeks. This week against the top passing defense in Buffalo he scored 13 PPR points. He's becoming the top target in the Jets offense and should have a big 2nd half of the season. At this point in the season it's tough to find solid floor guys with big upside but Moore is just that and could be in your waivers right now.

Cam Newton | QB | CAR (16.2% Rostership - 5% FAAB Recommendation) (@MattFFDynasty)

"I'M BAAAAACK"... It didn't take Cam long to show us all what we've been missing, especially from a fantasy prospective. Newton was mainly used as a redzone weapon in his first game back in Carolina and despite only throwing the ball for 8 yards and rushing for 14 yards, he scored 2 TDs and put up 11.72 FP. That was a glimpse of the upside we know Cam Newton can give us in fantasy, and his next 3 games... WAS, MIA, & ATL. Cam Newton has QB1 upside for the rest of the season and is a must add in all fantasy football formats.

Wayne Gallman | RB | ATL (0.8% Rostership - 3% FAAB Recommendation) (@K_H_RAY)

Where there is a RB injury, there's a Gallman, and Wayne Gallman is the "Gallman" of Gallmans. For years now, The former Giant has made a career of filling in during times of need, and Week 11 is no exception. Reports are that 8th year sensation Cordarrelle Patterson may be out this Thursday night against the Patriots. Mike Davis should start the game for the Falcons, but I'd expect Atlanta to work in our boy a good bit. During Week 10's beatdown by the Cowboys, Gallman received 15 carries and a reception.

D'Onta Foreman | RB | TEN (2.6% Rostership - 3% FAAB Recommendation) (@MattFFDynasty)

When Derrick Henry went down with a foot injury that would likely keep him out for the season, many expected Adrian Peterson to be the lead back in this Tenneesse committee. However it appears to be Foreman who is leading this backfield, coming off an 11 carry game for 30 yards and adding 2 receptions for 48 yards. Now, the statline may not jump off the page but it was against a tough NO defense. He gets a much easier task this week Vs HOU and next week against NE. At this stage of the season you should be targeting these RBs with opportunity to give you that added depth, and Foreman is a solid pickup this week.

Dan Arnold | TE | JAX (10.5% Rostership - 3% FAAB Recommendation) (@ZTwiceFF)

Another week, another Dan Arnold appearance in our waivers article. I refuse to stop writing about him until his roster percentage rises to a reasonable amount. With TE's being so tough to find, Arnold, who is averaging over 7 targets per game as a Jaguar, should not be available. Yet he is in the great majority of leagues. He's a locked in started outside of the top tier options with guaranteed targets in the Jacksonville offense that lacks weapons.

Marcus Johnson | WR | TEN (0.1% Rostership - 1% FAAB Recommendation) (@K_H_RAY)

You wouldn't be alone if this is the first time you're hearing Marcus Johnson's name. But in the absence of Julio Jones (now placed on IR and out the next two weeks) Johnson was able to deliver some big plays for the Titans and may have a chance to stay active in Tennessee's next-man-up squad. He finished Week 10 with 5 receptions and 100 yards.
