Week 6 Waiver Stargazing

Bye weeks are now upon us, and with it comes the lineup selection headaches. This is where the waiver wire becomes important, to fill these lineups while these guys are on their bye weeks. So @ZTwiceFF, @K_H_Ray & @MattFFDynasty are here to help highlight who you should be targeting this week on your waiver wire.

Waiver Target

Waiver Target Of The Week

Kadarius Toney | WR | NYG (0.8% Rostership - 15% FAAB Recommendation) (@MattFFDynasty)

After a slow start to the season, 1st round pick Kadarius Toney has now had back-to-back solid games for the New York Giants with 22 targets, 16 receptions, and 267 yards in those last 2 games. He may have benefited from fellow WR Shepard and Slayton missing time but with how he's performed, and with Golladay now banged up, Toney should still see plenty of opportunity moving forward.

Devontae Booker | RB | NYG (0.8% Rostership - 12% FAAB Recommendation) (@ZTwiceFF)

Unfortunately, the injury woes are continuing for Saquon Barkley after an ankle sprain this week. In relief, Booker scored twice with 3 receptions for 16 yards through the air and 42 yards on the ground with 16 attempts. With Saquon scheduled to miss 2-4 weeks, Booker is a great option for those in need of injury or bye week fill-ins.

Darrel Williams | RB | SF (7.6% Rostership - 10% FAAB Recommendation) (@K_H_Ray)

A Williams 'add' has everything to do with opportunity rather than recent production. He has played well with limited opportunity backing up CEH, but has not had stand-alone value as a fantasy asset. However, the team likes the player and he's been in this Chiefs offensive system for several years. With CEH dealing with a sprained MCL for the next few weeks Williams and McKinnon will step in as replacements. I like Williams to get most of the touches in one of the better offenses in the NFL.

Tim Patrick | WR | DEN (22% Rostership - 10% FAAB Recommendation) (@K_H_Ray)

Can we give Patrick some love? Rostership in just the 20s ain't love. Since Jerry Jeudy's exit early this season, Tim Patrick has been super productive for the Broncos, most recently with a 7 rec, 9 target, 89 yard outting against the struggling Steelers secondary. In 5 games this season, Patrick has scored fewer than 12 fantasy points just one time. As bye weeks start up across the league, consistent fantasy options become even more valualbe. Patrick is worth a fill-in spot on your roster.

Khalil Herbert | RB | CHI (0% Rostership - 5% FAAB Recommendation) (@MattFFDynasty)

With David Mongomery placed on IR, the Bears turned to Damien Williams and Khalil Herbert this past week with both seeing a solid workload in a split committee. Admittedly, Williams had the work earlier in the game and Herbert later on when the Bears were leading but Herbert had a solid outing with 18 carries for 75 yards. Willaims was a popular add last week but in deeper leagues, Herbert is someone to target as a bye week fill-in while Monty is out.

Teddy Bridgewater | QB | DEN (3.6% Rostership - 1% FAAB Recommendation) (@ZTwiceFF)

Bridgewater played well this week against a solid Pittsburgh defense throwing for 288 yards and a pair of TD's. There are minimal QB options available on waivers with injuries and bye weeks - Bridgewater is a safe option this week facing Las Vegas at home.
