Week 7 Waiver Stargazing

This week is going to be a brutal one, given the teams that are on their bye week this week, so attacking your waiver wire is going to be key to help fill in for your fantasy studs who are unavailable. So with that, @ZTwiceFF, @K_H_Ray & @MattFFDynasty are here to help highlight who you should be targeting this week on your waiver wire. (Rostership % via NFLFantasy)

Waiver Targets

Waiver Target of The Week

JD McKissic | RB | WAS (46% Rostership - 15% FAAB Recommendation) (@K_H_Ray)

McKissic had some stand-alone value before Week 6's game vs the Kansas City Chiefs. He's been their top pass-catching Running Back this season and will get a handful of carries behind Antonio Gibson. Now, Gibson exited Sundays game with the same shin injury that has been nagging him all season. If Gibson is forced to miss time, McKissic would be in line for a larger workload in a Washington offense that's typically playing from behind. McKissic is worth a pick up, particularly during this week's Byemagedon.

Rashod Bateman | WR | BAL (2.6% Rostership - 6% FAAB Recommendation) (@ZTwice FF)

Coming off of IR, Bateman was tied for the team lead in targets with Mark Andrews. Lamar Jackson is throwing the ball more now than ever and Bateman could be a sneaky upside pickup in your leagues where you're struggling with byes and injuries.

Matt Ryan | QB | ATL (32.6% Rostership - 5% FAAB Recommendation) (@MattFFDynasty)

As mentioned at the start of this article, the bye weeks are brutal this week (6 teams on their byes) and especially at the QB position with star fantasy QB's Josh Allen, Dak Prescott & Justin Herbert all unavailable. So you are likely looking to stream a QB in your 1QB leagues this week and Matt Ryan is looking like one of the best options. Coming off his bye week, the ATL QB had an impressive game in London the week before vs NYJ, with 342 passing yards and 2 TDs. His star WR Calvin Ridley should be back this week, and with Rookie TE Kyle Pitts finding form, Ryan should be a must-add this week facing off against a poor MIA defense.

DeeJay Dallas | RB | SEA (0.3% Rostership - 3% FAAB Recommendation) (@K_H_Ray)

At the beginning of the season, DeeJay was sitting on the back-half of Seattle's RB depth chart. Now, with Carson still on IR and Alex Collins dealing with a hip injury, Dallas could be looking at more work Monday night against the Saints. Rashad Penny may be returing from his own injury this week, so it would be good for a Dallas owner to monitor. But even with Penny's return, the coaching staff may choose to limit his workload since this will be his first game in a month. Alex Collins sits out Week 7, Dallas would serve as a decent 1-week fill in.

Demetric Felton | RB | CLE (0.1% Rostership - 2% FAAB Recommendation) (@ZTwice FF)

With Kareem Hunt being put on IR and Nick Chubb dealing with injuries, Felton looks to be the next man up. With Cleveland having their game Thursday, there is not much time for Chubb to recover. I'd pickup Felton as a wait and see option, who's flex worthy if Chubb is out.

Jamal Agnew | WR | JAX (0.1% Rostership - 2% FAAB Recommendation) (@ZMattFFDynasty)

Agnew has started to carve out a nice role on this offense over the past 2 weeks. He's seen 13 Targets, 11 Receptions, and had 119 Yards in the last 2 weeks, and has seen his snap share jump up to an average of 61%. The Jags defense has been poor so far this season so there should be plenty of opportunities for Agnew to keep this usage up moving forward with negative game scripts. The Jags are on their bye this week so this selection is more of a deep league stash rather than someone to help you this week, but you can likely get a jump on your leaguemates if they overlook Agnew while he is on his bye.
