Week 4 Astro Rankings

Here we are, Week 4 and in the NFL the injuries just keep on coming. So far we have Michael Thomas, Chris Godwin and Leonard Fournette ruled out. DeAndre Hopkins is a game-time decision and if that wasn't enough the Titans and game has been postponed.
Thursday Night Football was surprisingly entertaining and a good one game if you started Jamison Crowder, Melvin Gordon or Tim Patrick.
This week's rankings are only going to take into consideration all Sunday matchups and the Monday night showdown. These rankings are based on Half-PPR leagues

Quarterback Rankings
1. Russell Wilson - Seattle Seahawks
The MVP candidate has so far thrown for 14 touchdowns, through the first 3 games. He comes up against a Miami defense still missing their star CB, Byron Jones. It’s also a defense that’s allowed 2 Top-6 QB games, through 3 games. You can start Wilson with the confidence he’s in a prime position to be QB1 this week.
2. Lamar Jackson - Baltimore Ravens
3. Patrick Mahomes - Kansas City Chiefs
4. Josh Allen - Buffalo Bills
5. Dak Prescott - Dallas Cowboys
6. Kyler Murray - Arizona Cardinals
7. Aaron Rodgers - Green Bay Packers
8. Matt Ryan - Atlanta Falcons
9. Deshaun Watson - Houston Texans
10. Joe Burrow - Cincinnati Bengals
Having thrown the ball 105 times through 5 games, Burrow comes up against a defense that is allowing the 6thmost fantasy point to opposing QBs. This has the potential to be Burrow’s best game of his rookie season.
11. Jared Goff - LA Rams
12. Matthew Stafford - Detroit Lions
13. Drew Brees - New Orleans Saints
14. Ryan Fitzpatrick - Miami Dolphins
15. Baker Mayfield - Cleveland Browns
Running Back Rankings
1. Alvin Kamara - New Orleans Saints
2. Dalvin Cook - Minnesota Vikings
Cook has had a good start to the season and gets a matchup with a defense that is allowing the 4th most fantasy points to opposing RBs. Cook has the potential to have a monster game and be RB1 this week.
3. Ezekiel Elliott - Dallas Cowboys
4. Aaron Jones - Green Bay Packers
5. Jonathan Taylor - Indianapolis Colts
6. Kenyan Drake - Arizona Cardinals
Drake has underwhelmed so far this season. But comes up against a defense that is allowing the 2nd most points to opposing RBs and averaging 32.2 to opposing RBs. If there’s ever a matchup for Drake to bounce back, it’s this weeks matchup.
7. Nick Chubb - Cleveland Browns
8. Clyde Edwards-Helaire - Kansas City Chiefs
9. Miles Sanders Phillidelphia Eagles
10. Josh Jacobs - Las Vegas Raiders
11. James Robinson - Jacksonville Jaguars
12. Joe Mixon - Cincinnati Bengals
13. Austin Ekeler - LA Chargers
14. Devin Singletary - Buffalo Bills
15. Darrell Henderson - LA Rams
16. Chris Carson - Seattle Seahawks
17. Mike Davis - Carolina Panthers
18. David Montgomery - Chicago Bears
With Tarik Cohen out for the season Montogmery’s usage skyrockets. It’s a very tough matchup, but volume alone makes Montgomery a high upside RB this week. Start with confidence due to usage alone.
19. David Johnson - Houston Texans
20. Jerrick McKinnon - San Francisco
21. Kareem Hunt - Cleveland Browns
22. Ronald Jones - Tampa Bay Buccaneers
23. Mark Ingram - Baltimore Ravens
24. Todd Gurley - Atlanta Falcons
25. Antonio Gibson - The Washington Football Team
Wide Receiver Rankings
1. Deandre Hopkins - Arizona Cardinals
2. DK Metcalf - Seattle Seahawks
3. Calvin Ridley - Atlanta Falcons
4. Tyreek Hill - Kansas City Chiefs
5. Tyler Lockett - Seattle Seahawks
6. Amari Cooper - Dallas Cowboys
Cooper has seen 35 targets this season. If Denzel Ward is out this week Cooper has potential for a WR1 game. Cleveland has allowed the 4th most fantasy points to opposing WR. Cooper is getting the volume and will potentially have to be without Denzel Ward following him all game.
7. Allen Robinson - Chicago Bears
8. Mike Evans - Tampa Bay Buccaneers
9. Stefon Diggs - Buffalo Bills
10. Davante Adams - Green Bay Packers
11. Cooper Kupp - LA Rams
12. D.J. Moore - Carolina Panthers
13. Odell Beckham Jr - Cleveland Browns
OBJ hasn’t put up the numbers his targets suggest. He gets a great matchup in Week 4, with the Cowboys giving up 34 points to opposing WRs. With the assumption this is a heavy offense based game, OBJ has the potential to have a very good game.
14. Adam Thielen - Minnesota Vikings
15. Robert Woods - LA Rams
16. Kenny Golladay - Detroit Lions
17. Keenan Allen - LA Chargers
18. Will Fuller - Houston Texans
19. Terry McLaurin - The Washington Football Team
20. Devante Parker - Miami Dolphins
21. Michael Gallup - Dallas Cowboys
22. Marquise Brown - Baltimore Ravens
23. Tyler Boyd - Cincinnati Bengals
24. T.Y. Hilton - Indianapolis Colts
25. Julian Edelman - New England Patriots

Tight End Rankings
1. Travis Kelce - Kansas City Chiefs
2. Zach Ertz - Philadelphia Eagles
With Dallas Goedert injured this week and the questionable WRs in Philly, Ertz has potential to be peppered with targets and opportunities to make him TE1 this week. Even though Wentz hasn’t played well, the potential targets for Ertz makes him an easy Top 5 prediction and a comfortable start.
3. George Kittle - San Francisco 49ers
4. Mike Gesicki - Miami Dolphins
5. Mark Andrews - Baltimore Ravens
6. Darren Waller - Las Vegas Raiders
7. Tyler Higbee - LA Rams
8. Hunter Henry - LA Chargers
9. Hayden Hurst - Atlanta Falcons
10. Evan Engram - New York Giants
11. Dalton Shultz - Dallas Cowboys
12. Austin Hooper - Cleveland Browns
13. Mo Allie-Cox - Indianapolis Colts
14. Jimmy Graham - Chicago Bears
15. Logan Thomas - The Washington Football Team
Thomas has seen consistent targets this season, but this hasn’t led to good fantasy numbers. Despite Washington’s offense being poor, he’s in a matchup with a team that’s allowing 11.8 fantasy points per game to opposing TEs. It’s a risky play, but the targets should have Thomas getting decent fantasy numbers in Week 4.
